Cheslie Powell

Cheslie H. Powell, 78, of Jonesboro, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, October 3, 2016 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on December 12, 1937 to Howard Werner and Frances Elizabeth Blaylock Powell. He was a retired Technical Sergeant from The United States Air Force and was a member of South Caraway Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Cheslie is survived by his wife of 31 years: Betty Powell of Jonesboro, Arkansas, 3 daughters: Karen Powell of Las Vegas, Nevada, Eve Strobbe of Las Vegas, Nevada and Susan Manganello (John) of Las Vegas, Nevada, son: Alan Harsson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, brother: George Werner Powell of Hernando, Mississippi, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00am at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.
