Charles Leon Tyler Sr., 74, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on November 20, 1946 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Paul Maxwell and Janice Shepard Tyler.
Charles was a truck driver for 52 years, a radio operator in the army and he received the National Defense Service Metal.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Kathy Tyler, parents, one grandson: Braiden Tyler and one great-grandson: Brylan Mason.
Charles is survived by one son: Charles Tyler Jr. (Heather) of Lepanto, Arkansas, five daughters: Stephanie Brewer of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Susan Tyler (Gary Gray) of Lepanto, Arkansas, Nickie Spencer of Lepanto, Arkansas, Casey Miller ( Brian Oakes) of Lepanto, Arkansas and Tiffany Stone (Wes) of Lepanto, Arkansas, four brothers: Max Tyler of Tiptonville, Tennessee, William Tyler of Lake City, Arkansas, Glen Tyler of Lepanto, Arkansas and Dale Tyler of Cave City, Arkansas, one sister: Paulette Tyler-Mayes of Lepanto, Arkansas, thirteen grandchildren: Halie Tyler, Cody Tyler, Taylor Allen, Dylan Mason, Julia Stutts, Alison Tyler, Abigail Sanders, Bella Gray, Jonathan Spencer, Rebecca Miller, Kenley Miller, Caroline Miller and J.D. Miller, six great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held Monday from 12:00p.m. until service time.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
