Charles Edge

Charles "Douglas" Edge, 82, of Maynard, Arkansas departed this life, Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Mr. Edge was born, June 10, 1933 in Bassett, Arkansas the son of Clovis Lawrence and Maxine Lucille (Harrington) Edge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Retha Amos.
Douglas is survived by two brothers, Clovis Edge of Springfield, LA. and Billie Edge of South Beloit, IL.; two sisters, Gladys Goforth of Columbia, MO. and Glenda McKuhn of Orlando, FL.; two step-brothers, Gene Laird of Hamilton, AL. and Fred Laird of Brookhaven, MS. and two step-sisters, Patricia Gurley of Memphis, TN. and Barbara Metz of Mountain Home, AR.
Graveside service will be held, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, AR. There will be no visitation.
Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, AR in charge of the arrangements.
