Catherine Nelson

Catherine Annette “Cathy” Nelson, 54, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life Monday, November 22, 2021.  She was born on September 21, 1967 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Jimmy D. and Gwendlon Willis Walling.  She was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing.  Kathy loved all dogs, especially hers.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Brett Ashton “B.A” Nelson and Benjamin Clayton Walling.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years: Dewayne Nelson of the home, one son: Patrick Nelson (Mallorie) of Trumann, Arkansas, two brothers: Jimmy “Buster” Walling of Lepanto, Arkansas and Keith Walling (Susan) of Wahoo, Nebraska, and one grandchild: Hayden Hargett of Trumann, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Interment will follow service at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Brother Wayne Roach will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
