Carl Maddox Jr

Carl Gene Maddox, Jr, 55, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on October 24, 2017.  He was born on August 1, 1962 Carl Gene Sr. and Ollie Paulette Kemp Maddox.  Mr. Maddox was a Christian and a member of the Dyess hunting camp, he enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing and tinkering.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father and brother: Christopher Maddox.

Carl is survived by his wife of 37 years: Patti Pounders Maddox of the home, mother: Paulette Maddox of Lepanto, son: Chris Maddox (Emily) of Lepanto, daughter: Sommer Leonard (Chris) of Charleston, Arkansas, two sisters: Ramona Franks (Ricky Laden) of Lepanto and Starre Morrisett (Allen) of Lepanto and three grandchildren: Maddox Leonard, Edison Leonard and Jhett Maddox.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
