Bobbie Scrape

Bobbie May Scrape, 93, of Memphis, Tennessee departed this life on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Methodist Germantown Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee.  Bobbie was born in Stillman, Arkansas to George Dewey and Rubye Maytelle Spears May.  She was the middle daughter of three daughters.

Bobbie attended Stillman and Missco Schools during her primary and secondary years.  Upon completion of her secondary education, she attended Arkansas State College and Memphis State College.

Bobbie was a longtime worker at Leader Federal Savings and Loan Association, which in 1989 changed its name to Leader Federal Bank for Savings.  She attained the title of vice president.  She dedicated her efforts spending countless hours at the institution for over three decades.

Bobbie attended White Station Church of Christ, where she thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship and evolution in her spiritual learning.

A special thank you to Dr. Habashy and staff, Dr.Villanueva, Methodist Hospital Staff and Kirby Pines Retirement facility, without their tireless efforts through a public health emergency quality of life would not have been possible.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
