Betty Jane Stover Morgan

Mrs. Betty Jane Stover Morgan, 85, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at her home with her immediate family at her bedside. She was born in Newport, Arkansas on December 2, 1936, to Parker Levi and Ruth Grogan Stover. 

Betty was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Marked Tree, Arkansas.  She was half the backbone of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son: Billy Morgan and three sisters: Peggy Collins, Mae Stone, and Sue Gilbert.

Betty is survived by her husband of sixty-six years: C.J. Morgan, they were married June 22, 1956, three children: Diana Lamey, Julius Morgan and Janice Morgan all of Marked Tree, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Jessica Morgan Fernandez (Alex) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Brittany Hardin (Clint) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, and Clint Lamey (Avonlea) of Texas, seven great grandchildren: Gabril, Landon, Rachel, Cotton, Sofia, Sebastian, and Raylan, two sisters: Mary Durrance of Wauchula, Florida and Wanda Overway Huffman of Texas, two brothers: P.L. Stover of Forrest City, Arkansas and Charles Stover of Munford, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow service at Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Michael Hughes will officiate the service and Ronnie Benson will lead singing.

Pallbearers: Clint Lamey, Clint Hardin, Alex Fernandez, Landon Hardin, Howard Morgan, and Carl Cantwell.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
