Betty Adams

Betty Jane Adams, 76, of Lake City, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in Jonesboro.  She was born on February 6, 1944 to Cecil and Maggie Mitchell Weaver.  She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed crocheting, making dolls, arts and crafts, reading, puzzles and books and she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Alfred Adams and her parents.

Betty is survived by one son: James Adams (Stacy) of Tyronza, one daughter: Theresa Skelton of Blytheville, one brother: David Weaver, two sisters: Celia Easley of Bartlett, Tennessee and Ruby Mason of McCrory, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00a.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.
