Bernice Simmons

Bernice Ray Simmons, 82, of Marked Tree, departed this life on Thursday, September 5, 2019 in Marked Tree. She was born on July 30, 1937 to Ray and Ruby Sexton Brewer.

Bernice was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was Bookkeeper for Simmons Trucking.  She loved crocheting and anything to do with sewing, traveling and loving her children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: John Simmons, brother: Roy Brewer and sister: Linda Sneathern.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Ronnie Simmons (Carnel) of Lepanto, Bobby Simmons (Brandi) of Marked Tree, 3 brothers: Billy Brewer of Flippin, Henry Brewer of Calico Rock and Jerry Brewer of Cebu, Philippines, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren on the way.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from 1:00 pm until service time.
Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery.
