Benda Ridgdill

Benda Simmons Ridgdill, 82, of Denver, Colorado, formally of Lepanto departed this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Amberwood Court Rehabilitation and Care in Denver Colorado.  She was born on July 8, 1941 in West Ridge, Arkansas to J.L. and Alma Christian Simmons.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Evan Ridgdill, her parents, two brothers: Earnest Simmons and J.L. Simmons, Jr,  two sisters: Pamela Grace Simmons and Annie Jo Parnell.

Benda is survived by two sons: Wesley Evan Ridgdill (Bryarly) of Bailey, Colorado and Walter Nigel Ridgdill of Brooksville, Florida, one daughter: Julia Diane Marion (Bill) of Brooksville, Florida, two brothers: Carroll Levi Simmons of Mountain Home, Arkansas and James Edward Simmons of Texas, one sister: Rosa Lea Simmons McCreary of Tupelo, Mississippi, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. and visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Delancey Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.

Interment will follow funeral service in Potter Memorial Cemetery, Lepanto, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home.
