Barnie Whitman

Barnie Whitman, 75, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on August 31, 2017 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.   He was born on March 21, 1942 in Trumann, Arkansas to the late Fred and Dollie Walden Whitman. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue Wells on January 25, 1963 and to this union 3 children were born.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, his parents, and sister: Shirley Grammer.

Barnie is survived by three daughters: Cyndi Bond (Kevin) of Monette, Arkansas, Christy Murphy (Randy) of West Memphis, Arkansas and Wendy Whitman of Thayer, Missouri,   4 brothers: Fred Whitman, Johnny Whitman, Charles Whitman and Woody Whitman, 4 sisters: Ganeva Smith, Patricia Burgess, Regina Watson and Debbie House, 4 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to Corners Chapel Baptist Church
