Alice Richmond

Alice Jean Simmons Richmond, 79, of Murphysboro, Illinois departed this life on Saturday, February 8, 2020.  She was born on January 6, 1941 to James “Jim” Clayton and Ruth Ida Griffey Simmons.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Jerry Wayne Richmond.

Alice is survived by two sons: Danny Richmond (Sherry) of Harrisburg and Randy Richmond (Mona) of Lepanto, two daughters: Belinda Sisemore (Michael) of Osceola and Sherry Marnati (Danny) of Murphysboro, Illinois, one sister: Maxine Richmond of West Ridge, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, twenty-six step great grandchildren and twelve step great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto from 12:30p.m. until 1:45p.m.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto at 2:00p.m.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.
