Aldena Palmer

Aldena Thomas Palmer, 84, of Osceola, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, April 2, 2017. She was born on January 7, 1933 to Joseph B. and Lucy Rainwater Thomas. She graduated from Nancy High School in Nancy, Kentucky. She was of the Baptist faith, she loved gardening, birds and Genealogy.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Marion Palmer, parents, 3 brothers: Ralph, Edwin and Joseph Jr. and 7 sisters: Alma, Thelma, Ruby, Bessie, Dottie, Pauline and Vivian.
Aldena is survived by her son: Ken Palmer of Osceola, Arkansas, 4 daughters: Mary LaVergne (Steve) of Malvern, Arkansas, Lucy Elaine Palmer of Sikeston, Missouri, Jean Palmer of Chalmette, Louisiana and Laura Leigh Beach (Tim) of Olathe, Kansas, sister: Lene Morgan of Loveland,Ohio, cousin: Kara Burkett of Sevierville, Tennessee, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 at The New Life United Pentecostal Church in Osceola, Arkansas.
Graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville, Arkansas.
Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas is in charge of the services.
