Albert McHenry

Albert Lee “Al” McHenry, 79, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, August 31, 2017 at his home.  He was born on December 10, 1937 in Morris Oklahoma to Charles Madison  and Ethel LaVada (Bryant) McHenry.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas, served in the United States Coast Guard for eighteen years and enjoyed professional wrestling. He and his son, Calvin attended wrestling every Monday night at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis Tennessee.  He also enjoyed Dirt Track and Stock Car Racing.

Al is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Joyce (Wolf) McHenry of the home, son: Calvin McHenry (Beth) of Manila, the mother of his grandchildren: Suzanne McHenry of Leicester UK, three grandchildren: Amie McHenry, Calvin McHenry II, Bethany McHenry and one step granddaughter: Angel Pannell.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10:00 am at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

There will be no visitation.
